Ingredients for the recipe:

  • 1 cup buckwheat flour
  • 1 cup wheat flour
  • 4 cups milk
  • 3 eggs
  • 4 tbsp. butter
  • 1 tbsp. sugar
  • 1/2 tsp. baking soda
  • 1 tsp. lemon juice
  • salt to taste
  • vegetable oil for frying

Recipe:

  1. Mix buckwheat and wheat flour in a deep bowl. Add warm milk, egg yolks, salt, and sugar. Mix well.
  2. Add softened butter and knead the dough.
  3. Separately, extinguish the baking soda with lemon juice, then add to the dough.
  4. In another bowl, beat the egg whites until stiff peaks form. Gently fold them into the dough.
  5. Fry the pancakes on both sides in a hot skillet with vegetable oil.

These pancakes turn out thick and delicious. Buckwheat pancakes without yeast are ready to serve.
