Semolina Pancakes

Ingredients for the recipe for Semolina Pancakes:

  • 100g semolina
  • 100g flour
  • 1 egg
  • 3 tbsp vegetable oil
  • 3 cups milk
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • sugar (to taste)
  • salt (to taste)
  • vegetable oil (for greasing)

Instructions:

  1. Cook thick semolina porridge using 1 cup of milk and semolina. Let it cool down.
  2. Beat the egg with vegetable oil using a mixer until fluffy.
  3. Mix the cooled porridge with the remaining milk until smooth. Add sugar and salt to taste.
  4. Combine all ingredients and mix well. Sift the flour into the mixture and beat until smooth.
  5. Add baking powder and beaten egg mixture. Mix everything well.
  6. Cover the batter with a linen towel and let it rest for 20 minutes.
  7. Grease a hot frying pan with some vegetable oil and pour in the batter. Cook on both sides until golden brown, adding a little oil if necessary.
  8. Place the pancakes on a plate and serve with condensed milk on the side. Enjoy!
