Recipe for making “Jam-filled pastries”: Sift the flour and mix it with the yeast. Add water, salt, sugar and knead a homogeneous dough. Transfer the dough to a deep bowl, cover with a linen towel and leave in a warm place to rise in volume twice. Then punch the dough down, let it rise again, and punch it down one more time.

Then add vegetable oil and knead until the oil is completely absorbed into the dough. Divide the dough into pieces of the same size. Roll out each piece of dough into a round flat cake. In the center of each cake, place a little jam and pinch the edges to form the pastries. Place the pastries on a prepared baking sheet and lightly brush with beaten egg.

After that, put the baking sheet in a preheated oven at 200 degrees Celsius. Bake for 20 minutes.
