Apple and Orange Jam

Ingredients for the recipe:

  • 1 kilogram of apples
  • 1 kilogram of sugar
  • 1 orange
  • 1 cup of boiling water

Instructions:

  1. Wash the apples, remove the cores and seeds, and cut them into pieces.
  2. Blanch the orange with boiling water, cut into slices, remove the seeds, and cook for 2 minutes.
  3. Slowly pour sugar into the pot with orange slices and cook until a syrup is formed.
  4. Remove the pot from heat, add the apple pieces, mix well, and let it sit for an hour.
  5. Put the pot on low heat and cook until the jam is ready.
  6. Remove the pot from heat, transfer the jam to sterilized jars, seal and wrap with a kitchen towel.
  7. Let the jam cool down. Your apple and orange jam is ready!
